DSI tips for best performance
PowerMill is a multi-threaded application, but many of the operations perform best on processors with high single-threaded performance.
We at DSI have had good results with AMD Ryzen and Threadripper processors as well, but you may not need to spend top dollar for an extremely high-count CPU.
Gaming-grade video cards
Users of video cards other than Nvidia Quadro series may encounter compromised performance or stability. Ensure you're using updated drivers to give yourself the best chances at a trouble-free experience.
Given the choice, select drivers suited for professional use, such as Nvidia Studio drivers (not Game Ready).
